Intro to Seneca Produce Auction

Calling all canners and preservers! Did you know you can purchase large amounts of quality local produce? Join us on Friday, August 18th at 9:30 AM for an informal tour of our local produce auction house, Seneca Produce Auction LLC. This best kept secret in the Finger Lakes is located at 2295 Yerkes Road in Romulus.

Seneca Produce Auction LLC is open to everyone. They serve the region, wholesale buyers including grocery stores, farm markets and roadside stands, along with other establishments like canners and preservers.

Derek Simmonds, Agricultural Economic Development Specialist, will lead the tour and discuss the process of how the produce auction house works. He will show you how to obtain your own number, discuss the best way to purchase and learn about the order buying service. Join us to meet the auction staff and enjoy a fun experience.

Cost is free. Space is limited. Registration is required.
